Who are we?

Could Walk With Jesus be a second chapter of a fun community event in 2001?

We are residents of Whiteville and Columbus County, N.C. who have organized a few interesting community events, and are always willing to cajole the other 55,000 county residents into exciting and unusual adventures.

Our latest is Walk With Jesus, to be held in downtown Whiteville on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012. A blended traditional sunrise service will begin at 6:30 a.m. and last about a half hour. Then everyone gets a few sticks of chalk and scriptures, and gets writing. 

We should complete all 140,000 words in about a half-hour, and then we'll tour the three-plus miles of sidewalk, reading our favorite passages, and Walking With Jesus!

All done in time to return to our own churches for Easter services.
