Community Easter Sunrise Service

It is common for churches here in Columbus County to share efforts for Easter sunrise service, and many have wanted to cooperate to the level of having a service for the entire community, perhaps at a location other than a church.

Janice Young has been to the centuries-old sunrise service in Old Salem, which a thousand people attend beginning long before dawn, and she has long wanted to bring such a service here. Communities need people like Janice, who have the ideas, skills and desire to create beautiful things, and we are so fortunate to have her here.
