Has anyone seen that guy out on Madison Street with the funny-looking, two-wheel desk?
OK, that's me, Mark Gilchrist. I've been out at BB&T, and on Madison, Lewis and other streets recently, taking inventory of the sidewalk tiles so we can give everybody exact passages to write on each tile.
On that desk, I have a stack of paper (still haven't entered the tablet age, here!) with forms like the one at left. So now, I know just how large every sidewalk tile is, in case you want to ask me sometime.
Our tests are coming out great, and people are able to write much smaller than I did. We'll still go with about four words (24 characters) per square foot, though, just to make it all easy. This will be a beautiful Easter in downtown Whiteville!
